A 2004 introduction from Barry Fretwell of Peveril Clematis Nursery, Exeter, Devon, UK. Described by Barry Fretwell as having smaller than average six-sepaled flowers. Very floriferous over a long period with distinctive, deep plum-pink flowers with a lighter pink edging, fading to silver-pink.
