Horticultural collection

The Honourable EAH Boscawen

Description

Tregothnan has an unrivalled record Camellia cultivation for over 200 years, more recently with the first tea (C. sinensis) plantations in the UK. The first tea was grown here in 1999, and this most British of teas in history, has been sold from Tregothnan since 2005. Now, over 26 miles of tea bushes thrive in the unique microclimate.
